Espresso

BREW RATIO - 1:2

Does: 20g | Yield: 40-45g | Time: 28-30s | Temp: 93c

Standard Brewing Guide For Filter & AeroPress 

  • Coffee: 20g (Filter) / 15g (AeroPress)
  • Grind Size: Medium (Filter) / Medium-Fine (AeroPress)
  • Water Temperature: 94°C (201°F), just off the boil

Filter

  • Pre-rinse the filter paper with hot water.
  • Add ground coffee.
  • Bloom: Pour 50ml hot water, wait 30 seconds.
  • Pour remaining water slowly in a circular motion.
  • Enjoy!

AeroPress (1:16)

  • Use 15g coffee per 240ml water. Increase for multiple cups (example: 60g for four).
  • Bloom: Pour 50ml hot water, wait 30 seconds.
  • Pour remaining water.
  • Insert plunger, steep 1 minute.
  • Press slowly (20-30 seconds).
  • Enjoy!

Tips

  • Water Temperature: Experiment slightly below 94°C for different flavors.
  • Grind Size: Adjust for a perfect extraction time (around 30 seconds).
  • Scaling (Aeropress): The golden ratio is 1:16 (coffee:water).
  • Dilution (AeroPress): Your brew may be strong, dilute with hot water to taste.

My new favourite!

I recently got a tasting box from a friend for my birthday and this was one of the blends. Safe to say this has become my all time favourite adms the bag was empty well before all the other tasters! It's everything I love, strength, those lovely chocolately notes, and not too much of a fruity/acidic after taste.
